Keiki Coders – Terms of Service

By registering your child for a Keiki Coders class, you agree to the following Terms of Service:

1. Registration & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a spot in the program.

  • Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • No prorating is available for missed classes unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • A full refund will be issued if the cancellation is made 3 or more days before the first class.

  • If canceled 1–2 days before the first class, a $25 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund.

  • If withdrawing within the first three sessions, a 50% refund will be issued.

  • No refund will be provided after the date of the program’s fourth session.

  • In certain cases, such as medical emergencies, we may offer credit toward a future session at our discretion.

  • To request a cancellation, please email us at hello@keikicoders.com with your child’s name and class information. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

  • If Keiki Coders cancels a session due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

  • Keiki Coders reserves the right to cancel a session enrollment is lower than 6 students. A full refund will be issued.

  • No refunds will be issued for missed classes due to student absence.

3. Class Behavior & Dismissal

  • Students are expected to follow classroom rules and demonstrate respectful behavior toward instructors and peers.

  • Families may be held responsible for the replacement cost of any equipment that is intentionally damaged or destroyed by their child.

  • Keiki Coders is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, students are expected to:

    • Follow instructions from instructors and staff

    • Treat peers, instructors, and materials with respect

    • Participate in activities without causing repeated disruptions

    • Refrain from any behavior that is unsafe, aggressive, or intentionally harmful

    If a student exhibits ongoing disruptive behavior, engages in physical or verbal aggression, or otherwise endangers the safety or learning experience of themselves or others, Keiki Coders will take the following steps:

    1. Verbal warning and redirection

    2. Parent communication to discuss behavior and develop a support plan

    3. Temporary removal from class if necessary

    4. Permanent dismissal from the program if the behavior continues or is severe

    Keiki Coders reserves the right to remove a student from the program at any time if their behavior poses a risk to the safety or learning environment of the class.

    No refund will be issued in the event of dismissal due to behavioral reasons.

    We encourage open communication and will always work with families to support a child’s success in our program.

4. Pick-Up Policy

  • Parents/guardians must pick up their child promptly at the designated area at the end of class.

  • A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed.

5. Photos & Media Release

  • Keiki Coders may occasionally take photos or videos during class for educational or promotional purposes.

  • By enrolling, you grant permission for your child’s image to be used in print, video, and digital media unless you notify us in writing prior to the class start date.

6. Liability Waiver

  • Participation in Keiki Coders involves basic computer use, collaborative projects, and hands-on activities. All reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure a safe environment.

  • By enrolling, you agree to release and hold harmless Keiki Coders, its instructors, and partner schools from any liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising out of participation in the program.

7. Program Adjustments

  • Keiki Coders may adjust the curriculum, schedule, location, or instructor as needed. Families will be notified of any significant changes. If a change affects your child’s ability to attend, refunds or price adjustments will be offered in good faith.

By completing the registration form and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
