At Keiki Coders, we are committed to using artificial intelligence in a safe, ethical, and student-centered way. Our goal is to empower students with modern tools while protecting their privacy, security, and well-being.
Student Privacy and Data Protection
We do not collect, store, or share personal data through AI tools. Students are never required to enter sensitive information such as full names, addresses, school details, or contact information into AI platforms.
All student accounts created for learning purposes are temporary and are deleted once each session ends. This ensures that no long-term data is retained beyond the duration of the program.
Responsible and Monitored AI Use
All AI usage within our programs is actively monitored by instructors. Students are guided on how to use AI appropriately and ethically, and misuse is addressed immediately.
AI is never used as a replacement for learning. Instead, it serves as a support tool to help students brainstorm ideas, understand concepts, and improve their projects.
Safety Education Comes First
Our program will begin with a comprehensive lesson on safe and responsible AI use. During this exercise, students learn:
How to protect personal information
What content is appropriate to share
How to recognize unreliable or misleading outputs
Why critical thinking is essential when using AI
How to use AI respectfully and ethically
This foundation ensures students understand both the benefits and responsibilities of working with AI.
AI as a Learning Supplement
AI is used strictly as a supplement to instruction, not a substitute for creativity, problem-solving, or independent thinking.
Our focus remains on building real skills, confidence, and understanding.
Secure Learning Platforms
To support creative and technical learning, we use trusted educational tools including:
Canva for design and presentations
Figma for interface and digital design
Replit for coding and programming
Our Commitment
Keiki Coders is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and future-ready learning environment. By prioritizing privacy, monitoring usage, teaching digital responsibility, and using AI thoughtfully, we ensure that students gain valuable skills while remaining protected.
Our approach prepares students to use technology wisely, ethically, and confidently—both inside and outside the classroom.
