Explorers Catalog (Gr 3-5)

Code

Six children sitting at a table in a classroom, using tablets for educational activities. There is a library bookshelf in the background, and various school supplies on the table.
  • Students will go beyond exploring and start building their own interactive VR worlds! Using VR goggles and block-based coding, they’ll design scenes, create puzzles, and even add movement and storytelling elements. Along the way, they’ll learn game design basics, problem-solving, and how coding powers immersive technology. By the end, each student will showcase a custom VR project of their own creation.

Four children playing video games on laptops at a classroom table with string instruments hanging on the wall behind them.
  • Students will dive deeper into coding by creating games, animations, and interactive stories using block-based programming. They’ll practice problem-solving, logic, and creativity while learning the foundations needed for future text-based coding. No prior experience required, just curiosity!

STEM

Two young boys standing with large geometric frame structures, one yellow and one blue. The boys are smiling and looking at the camera, inside a room with yellow and white walls.
  • In Tinker Lab, students become young engineers as they design and build more complex Strawbees projects—bridges, towers, and even mechanical contraptions. They’ll learn about structural strength, movement, and iteration while experimenting and testing their designs.

Box labeled 'Climate Action Kit' with a robotic kit and electronic components in front of it, promoting micro:bit powered coding and robotics education.
  • Students will build and program robots to solve challenges, complete tasks, and move in creative ways. By combining motors, sensors, and coding, they’ll gain a deeper understanding of how machines think and respond to their environment. Projects encourage teamwork, iteration, and innovation.

Creative Arts

Smiling young girl showing her laptop with a comic strip on the screen, sitting at a wooden desk in a classroom, with another girl in the background.
  • Bring stories to life through technology! Students will create digital comics, narrated slideshows, and short multimedia projects while learning the basics of storytelling structure and visual communication. This class blends creativity with digital skills, giving students the tools to share their own unique voices.

Two costumed characters in bright colorful costumes, holding hands and standing on a stage with a dark backdrop and faint images of animals in the background.
  • Unleash your imagination on stage! Through improv games and creative drama activities, students will practice storytelling, quick thinking, and collaboration. This class builds confidence in self-expression and helps students develop communication skills in a supportive, playful environment.

Seven children in casual clothes dancing or exercising on a wooden floor in a large room with wood-paneled walls and a balcony.
  • Get moving and express yourself through K-Pop! Students will learn fun choreography inspired by popular K-Pop hits while exploring rhythm, coordination, and performance. This high-energy class encourages confidence, teamwork, and creativity through dance.
